Knowing HDTV terms that is entangled with terms such as CRT, LCD, Plasma, flat-panel, front or rear projection, to name but a few, can be a shock when you realize that you have to know some of what I am about to tell you. CRT stands for Cathode Ray Tube and it is one of the oldest types of television. Other then being very heavy it has been a long lasting product.
